We're going to the Zoo Zoo Zoo

We've been enjoying our Canada Day long weekend - and we kicked off our break by taking a trip to the zoo. It's hard to say if Nathan even noticed the animals - you can see from the pictures below that he looks a bit confused as to what direction he was supposed to be looking

This kitty is a bit bigger than Snickers
This whole zoo thing makes me sleepy
Okay - I'm ready for some more animals...can we take this one home?
Lately Nathan has been waking up ready to play at 6:30am (!!!) Needless to say coffee has become my friend - and it looks like Nathan needs a fix too
Now I'm ready to play some more.....really fast......why does my hand keep twitching?
Nathan continues to be a very adventurous eater - he seems to like most things I serve: some cereal with banana and yogurt for breakfast, chicken and rice with veggies for lunch, and his favourite: beef barley with squash for dinner....He did let me know that he's not a huge fan of pasta with broccoli and cheese:

Finding Nemo....I mean Finding Nathan....check out this fun swimming pool - the only problem is when we left it outside overnight all of the toys were tossed out of the pool, and there was a bit of dirt on the bottom - could it be that the local raccoons had a midnight swimming party in Nathan's pool??!

Hanging out with Oma, Opa and uncle Ed
